Sona tried to speak to Ikshan, but he paid no attention to her. Wandering around her empty house, Sona felt the eerie silence. All the servants had left, and her father had taken Vanshika to the hospital due to her worsening mental condition. Vanshika, now a shadow of her former self, had lost all sense after seeing her daughter’s lifeless body.
Jordan wasn’t home; he had gone to drop off Sona’s father and Vanshika at the hospital. Sona avoided Arya’s room out of respect, knowing Arya wouldn’t have liked her intruding. Instead, Sona entered Ikshan’s room. The room’s design was perfect—bright, clean, and filled with a vanilla scent. One wall was adorned with pictures of Ikshan and Arya, lined up neatly.
