Sona lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling. She had the drugs that she had secretly taken from Divit's pocket, and although she had lied to Shifa about it, it hadn’t been proven yet since she hadn't used them. They were still wrapped in white paper, and she had no intention of using them. However, Shifa's words gave her a reason to consider it. A miscarriage would mean she could rid herself of this child. Just one use, and her life would return to normal.
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Sona jumped, causing the packet of drugs to slip from her hand and fall to the ground.
